Machine description
The bar crusher breaks up the clods previously reduced by the clod mill to further reduce them.
For it to function in the best way, it is necessary to feed the machine over the whole width of the cylinders, and this can be achieved with a suitably wide belt provided with a clay levelling device.
The machine is particularly indicated for the treatment of very dry clays, as it offers a higher quality disintegration.
The machine in the photo, although manufactured in 2014 has never been installed and should therefore be considered as new.

The feeding belt is made of pressed steel plates running on three slides.
The belt is driven by a motor keyed onto an epicyclic reduction gear, coaxial to the drive shaft.

The power transmission from the motors to the drives takes place by means of pneumatically controlled clutches.
All gears can be inspected and removed through the side panels.
The replacement of the blades and panels is eased by the hinged tapered ring which can be opened.
