Machine functions
The mixer runs in order to perform mixing, kneading and wetting the clay already previously reduced to small particles.
Mixers are divided into two categories:
– mixers: they mix dry or slightly moist clays.
– filter mixers: used mainly in the production department, they carry out the initial mixing of the clay with water.
A first drawing is achieved with the mix going through grilles. The grilles also have the function to retain any residual impurities present in the clay.
Machine description
The machine is formed by a containment vat equipped with two counter-rotating shafts, fitted with mixing blades and screw, that mix the clay towards the end part.
A wetting system is installed on top of the containment vat and it is adjustable through a control system so as to set the moisture of the mix. In the event of a filter mixer, grilles are located on the end of the containment vat so as to extrude the clay.
The filter mixer grilles move through a hydraulic system to enable cleaning.
The size of the machine will be determined by the required hourly production quantity.
